Summary: When sheltered American good girl Allyson “LuLu” Healey first meets laid-back Dutch actor Willem De Ruiter at an underground performance of Twelfth Night in England, there’s an undeniable spark. After just one day together, that spark bursts into a flame, or so it seems to Allyson, until the following morning, when she wakes up after a whirlwind day in Paris to discover that Willem has left. The Gauntlet: 2013 Challenges

4 Jan

BOOM. It’s On.

It’s time to set the stage, friends. I know that reading is supposed to be leisurely, but who doesn’t need a little carrot to dangle in front of their eyes every now and then, amirite? I wasn’t able to get as much reading done in 2012 as I would have liked, so I’m taking it down a notch for 2013. Just giving myself a little breathing room, friends. Last year my reading eyes were bigger than my reading stomach. So, without further ado…THE CHALLENGES.

I’m all about this one, friends. Love the debuts. I’m going to say that I’ll read 2 debuts per month, so that gives me 24. Maybe it’ll be more than that when all is said and done. For now, here are the 12 debuts I’m most excited to read this year

Guys, I am a new audiophile. I’m SO EXCITED to be participating in this challenge so that I can really get into it. I’ll be participating in this challenge at the “Easy Listening” level, which is 12 YA audiobooks. WOO HOO! Here’s some that I can’t wait to try:

The Scorpio Races by Maggie Stiefvater

The Curse Workers series by Holly Black

I’m rocking this bad boy at level 3–15 YA contemps or more. I can’t even handle the list I have for this challenge right now. I’ll be updating it on my Challenges page as the year goes on. Here’s a few that I’m exited for right now:
